Pear story
Title: Bosc Pears
It is exciting going grocery stores.
People mingle and are happy shopping. People love food.
I went to grocery store last weekend. It was rather crowded. As I hurried and tried passing through the fruit section, sweet smell stopped me. The PEARS.
They smell so sweet and they look so sweet. I am not a big pear eater but I love to paint them.
There were three kinds of pears. It was like pear town. I picked two in each kind. I dug my purse and grabbed a piece of paper and pen, and wrote their names.
They had their special identity.
Danjour pear is the green one,
Bosc Pear the brownish amber, and
Bartlett Pear the yellow.
In my studio downstairs, I set up pears in pair up in the stage.
They looked so cute and were like talking each other. I could sort of understand the people hallucinating. It was like they were alive. I am not sure if I should call anything still life any more. They were not still. They were absolutely alive and moving.
Faris, my dog, of cause followed me. He follows me around everywhere. This time I had something eatable. He lifted his nose very high and sniffed gracefully.
I had to paint Bartlett guys the yellow one first. They were the softest and most ripped.
Next I painted Danjour pears, then Bosc pears last.

Such a confident hand here Becky. I love that you are not afraid to boldly apply paint.

I enjoy the big, bold paint strokes and the well chosen background colours to complement the colours in the pears. v
