Oil Painting by Becky Kim
Painted with pallet knife; Another from the series started last fall. As I drive one day in early December, I saw a sky that looked just like this. I believe I was driving northeast in the early evening. It wasn�t dark, but the beautiful full moon was in the sky, which was pink closer to the horizon. I knew then what I was going to paint next. I did not take photo. I usually don�t use photographs for my painting. I paint from my memory and imagination.
About Becky Kim
Of all the things I do, I feel most true to myself when painting. I paint portraits and landscapes, mostly imaginary. I work with oil and watercolor. I allow for spontaneity in both mediums.
